The Emerging Leader programme is designed for those at the start of their leadership journey. It supports newly promoted leaders, aspiring or informal leaders, technical experts stepping into people leadership, and anyone leading projects or teams for the first time.

  • Module 3 - The Power of Feedback

    Learn the science of feedback, understand your personal feedback style, and practise giving and receiving feedback that strengthens relationships and drives improvement.

  • Module 4 - Relational Influence

    Navigate the peer-to-leader transition, influence ethically, step into leadership opportunities, and understand what motivates others to lead with empathy and impact.

The Learning Journey

This programme blends theory, practical tools and peer connection to support learning:

Gaining Knowledge

Providing participants with an awareness and understanding of theories, concepts and models relevant to each topic.

Reflective Sharing

Discussing participants’ own past and recent experiences as a leader and non-leader to explore how the topic is relevant to them.

Working through current situations and how to use the knowledge and tools in this topic to get a successful outcome.

Observations

Working through scenarios as a group and discussing appropriate responses. Getting feedback and developing a deeper understanding of the topic.

Tool Box

Building a box of tools, techniques and strategies that can be used within the participant’s current and future roles.

Experiential Learning

‘Learning by doing’ through a series of practical activities that mimic workplace challenges, where participants experience scenarios relevant to self-awareness, self-regulation, teamwork, influencing, competition and strategy.
